Greenwich Green & Clean will recognize both public and private contributions to the beauty of our town on Thursday, October 15 at Sam Bridge Nursery and Greenhouses on North Street with a festive, early evening cocktail reception.  All are invited!

 Town residents, businesses and community organizations who have created attractive horticultural or environmental improvements to the town will be honored.  Floral or native plantings, streetscape and landscaping projects which enhance the property must be visible to the public. 

 The community is welcome to submit candidates for awards by sending pictures, taken in any season, with identifying information to info@greenwichgreenandclean.org.  The deadline for nominations is September 15.

Greenwich Green & Clean will be sponsoring an International Coastal Cleanup Day.

All non-biodegradable trash will be tallied and reported to Save the Sound for submission to the Ocean Conservancy which coordinates with organizations worldwide to analyze the pollution of the earth’s waters.

Check-in: Parking lot across from the first concession stand.

Bring gloves & buckets from home, but will be available on site.

Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be welcomed.

Join us for a festive evening cocktail reception honoring the residents, businesses and community organizations and projects that help make Greenwich more beautiful. Awards will recognize outstanding horticultural and environmental contributions, including floral and native plantings, streetscape and landscaping enhancements, and other publicly visible improvements throughout town.
