Cleanups

Spring and Fall Town-wide cleanups began in 1987 and now additional cleanups are held throughout the year.

In partnership with many other groups, volunteers can be seen cleaning and enhancing Town properties as if they were their own front yards.

Greenwich Green & Clean sponsors a fall cleanup as part of the International Coastal Cleanup. The trash will be tallied and reported to Save the Sound for onward submission to the Ocean Conservancy which coordinates with organizations throughout the world to analyze pollution of the earth’s waters.

Our reusable green buckets have replaced single-use plastic bags.
