This afternoon gathering will bring together community members in celebration of spring, sustainability, and the beauty of Greenwich’s public spaces.
The event aims to raise crucial funds for the maintenance of Greenwich Green & Clean’s signature project – the summer hanging baskets that adorn the lampposts of Central Greenwich.
Each summer, Dragon Wing Pink Begonias and ivy are planted in over 100 hanging baskets, enhancing the town’s charm.
Greenwich Green & Clean oversees their installation and maintenance, ensuring Greenwich remains vibrant and welcoming.
With community support, we can preserve this cherished tradition.
Guests will enjoy an inspiring program that includes brief remarks about the origins and process behind the hanging basket program, a carefully curated silent auction, and live chamber music—all accompanied by delicious seasonal fare.
It promises to be a joyful and meaningful afternoon in support of the floral displays that help define Greenwich’s unique charm.
